Let’s talk about me (also known as “About me”)
It’s been pointed out to me that since I teach, research, constantly play and talk about games, that I should have a blog wherein I discuss games (and all the other stuff I have an opinion about, which is apparently everything).
This is me, attempting to have a blog.
For reals though, I am a big fan of pop culture in all its many forms, although I can’t claim to have any great insights into the whys and hows of our crazy world. I read, watch and play just about anything I can get my hands on (except serious movies and books. Life is mad enough without spending time watching movies that make you cry). I won’t pretend to have a well thought out opinion on anything, but that won’t stop me from saying it anyway.
The stuff you may want to know about me: I’m 28, I live in Brisbane, Australia with my partner, Craig. He says my addiction to World of Warcraft is pathetic, I say he’s a whore because he plays games just as much as I do, only he plays lots of them and I play one. That means I’m faithful, not addicted, damnit!
So, that’s probably all you need to know. Grab a beer, pull up a seat and start arguing. Cheers!
